Based at our workshop in Ponthir, Newport, we cover South Wales and the West of England. If you're not sure whether we reach you, just give us a ring. We'd rather tell you yes than lose you to the assumption that we don't.

South Wales is our patch.
We've been in Newport for over a century. The workshop is in Ponthir, a short drive from Newport town centre, with easy access to the M4 and the A449, which puts us within reach of most of South Wales and across the Severn into Bristol and the West of England in under an hour.
Most of our work is in and around Newport, Cardiff, Caerphilly, Cwmbran, and the Monmouthshire valleys. We also work regularly in Bristol and the surrounding areas, the Severn bridges have never felt like much of a barrier to us.
For larger projects, structural steelwork, commercial gate installations, multi-site contracts, we can discuss travel more specifically. For standard domestic and commercial metalwork, the answer is almost certainly yes, we can reach you.
Where you'll find
our work
Newport
Newport is where it all started and where we're still based. We know the area well, from Rogerstone and Bassaleg in the west to Lliswerry and Ringland in the east. Most of our residential work is within a few miles of the workshop, which means quick site visits and straightforward logistics.
Whether it's a driveway gate in Chepstow Road, a balcony in Stow Hill, or structural steel for a commercial yard on the trading estates. Newport is home territory.
Cardiff
Cardiff is a regular stop for us. The city and its suburbs. Roath, Llandaff, Pontcanna, Canton, Whitchurch, Lisvane, generate steady demand for quality metalwork, and we've built up a solid base of customers across the city over the years.
We cover the whole of Cardiff including the Bay, the Vale of Glamorgan fringe, and the northern suburbs up to Tongwynlais and Thornhill.
Bristol & West of England
The Severn crossings have made Bristol a natural part of our territory for a long time. We work regularly in the city and its surroundings. Clifton, Redland, Bedminster, Southville, and out into North Somerset, Bath, and the Wiltshire fringe.
Bristol customers should allow for the bridge crossing in any scheduling, but it doesn't affect our pricing or our availability for site visits. We're across regularly.
Abergavenny & Monmouthshire
Abergavenny, Usk, Raglan, Monmouth and the Usk Valley are all well within our regular working area. Monmouthshire has a strong tradition of quality rural and agricultural metalwork, and we've supplied gates, fencing, and fabrications across the county for generations.

South Wales. General
Caerphilly, Cwmbran, Pontypool, Torfaen, Rhymney Valley, Merthyr Tydfil and the surrounding areas are all within our reach. The M4 and A465 corridors give us good access across the region, and we've worked across most of these areas over the years.
For areas further west. Swansea, Neath, the Valleys, we can usually accommodate, though we'd discuss travel costs honestly before committing.

If your location isn't on this page, don't assume we don't reach you. Our coverage isn't rigidly defined, it depends on the size of the project, the scheduling, and whether we're already in your area for other work.
The quickest thing to do is ring or send a message. We'll give you an honest answer, and if we genuinely can't help, we'll say so.
How our coverage
works in practice
A few things worth knowing before you get in touch, so there are no surprises on either side.
- Site visits are free across South Wales and the West of England. We'll come out, measure up, and discuss the brief before anything is priced.
- Travel costs for areas beyond our standard coverage are discussed upfront and included transparently in the quote, never added on afterwards.
- We deliver finished metalwork to site across our full coverage area. For larger structural pieces, we coordinate delivery around the installation schedule.
- Workshop collections are available by arrangement at our Ponthir, Newport site during opening hours.
- For multi-site commercial contracts or phased projects, we're happy to discuss a regular schedule across your locations.
